Launched in 2021, the 500 Campaign is our mission to support one in four students at BGS with at least a 50% means‐tested bursary award by 2032 ‐ the 500th Anniversary of the School Charter.
We have now raised over £2.75 million. This would not have been possible without the support of the BGS community; our OBs, parents, and friends and to celebrate, we have created this lunch to which all supporters, including those who have chosen to leave a gift to BGS in their will, are welcome.
To celebrate the philthrophy at BGS, and to thank those who have supported and donated, we have sent our invites to attend our Donors’ Lunch on Saturday 27 September 2025. We are hugely grateful for your kindness, and it would be our pleasure to welcome you on this special occasion.
The event will be hosted by our Headmaster, Jaideep Barot and you will meet our Sixth Form Bursary Award holders who will join you for lunch. There will also be a brief musical performance. We have invited the most generous and like‐minded members of our community to attend, and it should all be good fun too!
