Join us on Wednesday 28 October at 18:30 for the first of our brand new Old Bristolians' Lecture Series with Royal Historian, biographer and Old Bristolian Robert Lacey. Robert's new book 'Battle of Brothers' is out now and you can purchase a signed copy on our website here.
Robert will be speaking about 'Battle of Brothers: William and Harry and the Inside Story of a Family in Tumult.
Robert attended BGS from 1951-1962 and has since had a prolific career as a biographer and historian. He is the author of a number of best-selling biographies, including those of Henry Ford, Eileen Ford and Queen Elizabeth II, as well as several other works of popular history. He is best known for his work as historian to the Netflix award-winning drama The Crown. Lacey was educated at Selwyn College, Cambridge where he studied history.
