Gilbert Riddell McMillan. 1924-2023. BGS 1956-1962.

Excerpt below from the Chronicle when he left.

Mr. G. R. McMillan leaves us at the end of this term to become Senior Classical Master at Alleyn's School, Dulwich, where he will succeed another ex-member of the staff of B.G.S., Mr. David Raeburn.

During Mr. McMillan's seven years on the staff his patient and meticulous scholarship, added to his immense capacity for hard work, have put many boys in his debt, while outside the classroom he has given much valued help too. We offer him our best wishes for success and happiness in his new school.
