We are sorry to share the news that Timothy Wallington, who attended BGS from 1957 to 1963 and was a member of Booker’s House, died peacefully in Bristol following a long-term illness.

Tim was a talented sportsman during his time at BGS, representing the school in the 1st XI hockey team and becoming an accomplished javelin thrower.

After leaving BGS, Tim went on to study Medicine at Cambridge University. He subsequently enjoyed a distinguished medical career at Southmead Hospital in Bristol, where he was a consultant immunologist.

We extend our sincere condolences to Tim’s family and friends, and our thoughts are with them at this sad time.
