We are deeply saddened to be sharing the news regarding the death of OB Andrew Johnson who attended BGS on a scholarship from 1950-1955.
After leaving BGS, Andrew started work as an article clerk for a Bristol law firm. He went on to qualify as a solicitor and had a successful legal career in Bristol.
He was happily married to Jane for almost 60 years and they had a son, Matthew, and a daughter, Louise. Matt went on to become an Old Bristolian himself attending from 1980 to 1987. Andrew was always proud of this. He was always positive and helped many people over his lifetime.
