This week we are delighted to welcome Lucy Gibson, our new Alumni Events and Communications Officer, who will be covering for the wonderful Caitlin while she is on maternity leave.

Lucy gained both her Undergraduate and Masters degrees from the University of Birmingham and in 2024 returned home to Sheffield. There she joined Sheffield Girls’ GDST as an Alumni Relations and Marketing Assistant, where she developed a real passion for alumni engagement, storytelling and community building. Lucy brings plenty of creativity and energy to the role and is excited to get stuck into our busy event calender, communications and connecting with our alumni.

Lucy has recently relocated from Sheffield to Bristol to join us and is very keen to explore the city. She would love any OB recommendations on where to eat, drink, or spend a free weekend in Bristol.
