A few years OB Lucy (Feltham) Leonelli (Class of 2004) wrote a book about the year she spent living among an A to Z of Britain’s most fascinating subcultures and communities. During this year she met hundreds of interesting and eccentric characters from Aristocrats to Battle Re-enactors, Circus Performers, Hill Baggers, Nudists, Pigeon Racers, Sci-Fi Superfans, UFOlogists, Vampires and Xtreme Sports Fanatics. These people were so interesting, in fact, that the experience of spending time with them compelled her to write her first book:
To get her book published, Lucy is using a crowd-funding platform called Unbound that allows authors to prove there is an audience for their book before entering into a publishing contract. She is already at 73% funded, so not far to go now, and would love the support of the OB community in completing her goal. This can be done in various ways namely by
pledging for/ pre-ordering a copy of her book to help it get over this final hurdle and onto the shelves?
If you decide to pledge for a copy, not only will you receive it in the mail once they hit 100% funded, but you will also have your name listed in the back of the book as a patron supporter. As well as copies of the book, there are some other fun pledge levels you might be interested in, just follow the link below to check them out:
