Henry James Garrett (OB 2000-2011) is releasing his debut book ‘This Book Will Make You Kinder’ on 20 October and would love the BGS community to know ‘I would be buzzed for teachers I had to know about it.’  Since leaving BGS Henry has written, and illustrated an op-ed for The New York Times, created alternative Valentine's cards for The Fawcett Society, provided a feminist drawing of Meghan Markle's dog as a gift for her, cartooned for The i Newspaper, Buzzfeed, and London Pride & had solo exhibitions in London. His book is described by Matt Haig as "Interspersed with Henry's beautifully metaphorical illustrations, this is a great and easy-reading practical exploration of what kindness means in the modern world’.
