BGS WPOTY 2026 - judge announced

We are delighted to announce that internationally renowned wildlife cameraman and Old Bristolian Warwick Sloss will be judging our annual wildlife photography competition this year. Warwick's credits include National Geographic, Netflix, Disney, Apple and BBC. He has filmed in over 60 countries and worked on landmark series including Planet Earth and Our Planet. Warwick is annually in high demand, so we are fortunate he has found us a slot in his diary.

Thanks to everyone who has supported our competition with entries. Our Presentation Evening is on Thursday 11 June with a print exhibition of the winning images, talk from Warwick and certificate presentations.

You should also keep your eyes peeled for our 2026 edition of Bristolienses, which features an exclusive Q&A with Warwick on all things BGS and his journey since leaving.
