Join us for our brand new Old Bristolian Lecture Series where we are hearing from a variety of Old Bristolians' as they discuss their career and life since BGS.
In our newest addition to the schedule, and our last before Christmas, we are delighted to announced Chris Skidmore as our speaker.
Chris attended BGS from 1992-99 and went on to study at Christ Church, Oxford graduating in 2002 with a first class degree in Modern History. Chris is a politician, author and historian has served as Minister of State for Universities, Science, Research and Innovation from December 2018 to July 2019, and from September 2019 to February 2020. He was first elected in 2010 as the Conservative Member of Parliament (MP) for Kingswood, South Gloucestershire, and became vice-chairman of the Conservative Party for Policy in 2018.
