As you may know, the Old Bristolians and the Scholars’ Programme are jointly arranging a series of online Young Learners talks given by recent BGS leavers. The next talk is:
Wednesday 3rd November 6.30pm-7.30pm: Shanuk Mediwaka, ‘A Career in Law’.
Shanuk left BGS in 2016 and graduated from the University of Oxford in 2019. He now works at leading London solicitors Slaughter and May. He will talk about why he chose Law as a degree subject, the different pathways (eg barrister, solicitor) available and the work he now does and where it might lead him.
The talk will last for approx. 30 mins and there will then be ample time for questions. The talk will be via Zoom.
All parents and pupils are welcome to join the call.
