Event date: Tuesday 15 November, 4.30pm
Event location: The JCR, Bristol Grammar School
As part of our Remembrance Day commemorations, BGS is screening a short film about Old Bristolian SC Booker, who sadly lost his life in the First World War. The film was made by former BGS student Will Lindsay-Perez as part of his degree course, with some funding towards the project provided by the Old Bristolians Society.
The documentary looks at the life of SC Booker, and the extraordinary story of how his history was uncovered by BGS teacher Barry Williamson and his pupils as part of their First World War studies; you can watch the trailer here:
Old Bristolians, students and their families are invited to come and watch Will’s film in school on Tuesday 15 November, 4.30-5.30pm in the JCR in the Sixth Form Centre. There is no need to book, just come along; you should enter the school via Main Reception from where you will be shown to the JCR.
