We're delighted to welcome Peter Currie as our new Database Manager. Peter has worked for BGS for 17 years in the IT Support Department and will be an incredible asset. His commitment to and knowledge of the BGS community will aid in a seamless transition into our team and we're really excited to see what progress we can make as a department with his added expertise to the 'engine' of our operation. 

We believe in life-changing educational opportunities for all bright and able children who would benefit. Our community is central to our operation and we work to engage alumni, parents and friends of the school to encourage philanthropic support, together with increased opportunities for social and professional engagement.

The 500 Campaign raises funds to support bright and able children who deserve to be here at BGS and Peter’s role is vital to our raising over £12 million to enable one in four children to benefit from at least a 50% means-tested bursary.  With over £1 million raised in the first year and having won the Institute for Development Professionals in Education (IDPE) award for “Best Campaign”, we are now eager to strengthen our fantastic team with a talented data and research professional who can help us to engage a wider audience.
