Our mission is to engage a global community of Old Bristolians, parents and friends, to create life-changing bursaries for children with talent and promise from all backgrounds, regardless of financial means. We are also committed to supporting life-long friendship, social and professional events and mentoring programmes. Bristol Grammar School was founded in 1532 and since then we have maintained a proud tradition of philanthropy. The BGS Foundation, working in partnership with Old Bristolians and the wider BGS community, aims to build relationships, support children through bursaries and provide a lifelong service for our alumni.
